Make a Personalized Hook Rack - smithsamphy

A hook rack is a useful addition to any child's board. Why settle for a boring white cabbage rack from the salt away? With more or less fun patterned paper and a few supplies, you can work unitedly to workmanship a personalized lif rack that fits your child's personality and adds around fun to the bedroom wall.

DIY personalized hook rack

Supplies for a Individualised Hook Rack:

  • Wood board, cut to size of your choice and edges sanded
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Modern Podge glue
  • Froth brush
  • Sand (fine grit)
  • Maulers
  • Screws
  • Recitation
  • Screwdriver

Start with a instrument panel cut to size for your project. Our control board is 2.5″x12″, and near an in thick. Choose and cut a piece of scrapbook paper (or other patterned composition) to fit the board. The paper is what makes this hook single-foot special, so let your child opt something that reflects his/her interests or style. You could even use a nibble of your child's artwork! My daughter chose this fun configuration paper for her hooks.

With a foam brush, apply an even layer of Modern Podge to the board. Place the paper on the board, and fourth estate and smooth the paper. Rent dry for 10-15 minutes. And so brush 2-3 coats of Mod Podge on top of the newspaper, allowing the newspaper publisher to dry in between coats. We put a layer of Mod Podge on the edges of the board, too.
